About This Product
Beef fat trimmings are collected from various cuts during butchering—an economical option for rendering tallow. Makes excellent cooking fat, though slightly more beefy in flavor than kidney suet. Grass-fed fat contains higher levels of CLA and omega-3s than grain-fed.
How to Use
To render, chop cold fat into small pieces and heat slowly at 250°F until liquid. Strain through cheesecloth. May have slightly more beefy flavor than pure suet tallow. Excellent for frying, roasting, and general cooking. Store at room temperature or refrigerate.
