Delivery and Pickup FAQs
Where can I buy grass-fed beef in North Texas?
Texas Grass Fed Farms sells 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef shares to families across North Texas. You reserve a whole, half, or quarter cow online, and we deliver it free in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, and Rockwall counties. If you'd rather pick it up, we'll schedule a time with you at 300 E Davis St, Suite 213, McKinney, TX 75069.
Do you deliver?
Yes, and it's free in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, and Rockwall counties. We bring your beef right to your door ourselves. Outside those counties? Reach out before you reserve, and we'll schedule a pickup in McKinney or set up a meetup that works for you. We'd rather solve it than lose you over logistics.
Do you ship beef?
No, not yet. Since we are a local company, we'd rather hand your beef over ourselves than trust it to a box and a carrier right now. Every share is either delivered by us locally or picked up in McKinney, so it stays frozen and in our hands the whole way.
When will I get my beef?
Once your animal is processed and the hanging weight is confirmed, we'll reach out to schedule your delivery or pickup. Picking up? Bring a cooler or two so your beef stays frozen on the drive home.
Can someone else receive my beef?
Yes. Just tell us who'll be there for your delivery or pickup and we'll hand your share to them.
How much does a beef share cost?
Shares are priced by hanging weight at a rate locked in on your deposit date, with processing included. A half is priced on half of the animal's hanging weight, and a quarter on one quarter of it. Current pricing and deposit amounts for each size are listed on its product page.
