Pickup is Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, by scheduled appointment. Once your animal is processed and the hanging weight is confirmed, we email you your date and pickup window. Bring a cooler or two so your beef stays frozen on the drive home.
We work with vetted Texas ranch partners who raise cattle the way nature intended: outdoors on pasture, never in a feedlot, with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and no glyphosate applied to the land. Every animal is USDA-inspected and born, raised, and processed in Texas.

Where can I buy grass-fed beef in North Texas?
Texas Grass Fed Farms sells grass-fed beef shares for pickup at 300 E Davis St, Suite 213, McKinney, TX 75069. You reserve a whole, half, or quarter cow online and pick it up on a scheduled Saturday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Do you deliver?
Pickup in McKinney is how it works, and it's how nearly everyone gets their share. We're not running delivery routes yet. That said, if getting to McKinney is a real problem for you, reach out before you reserve and we'll see what we can work out. Sometimes that's a meetup, sometimes it's a courier handoff for an additional charge. We'd rather solve it than lose you over logistics.
Do you ship beef?
No, not right now. We don't have the cold-chain infrastructure to ship beef yet, and we're not going to do it poorly. Every share is picked up in McKinney.
When is pickup?
Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You'll get your specific date and window by email once your animal has been processed and weighed.
How far will people drive to pick up a share?
Most buyers are within an hour of McKinney, though plenty drive farther for a whole or half. It's one trip for several months of beef, which changes the math on the drive.

Yes. Just tell us who's coming and we'll release your share to them.
How much does a beef share cost?
Shares are priced by hanging weight at a rate locked in on your deposit date. A quarter cow typically totals $1,480 to $2,015, a half cow $2,845 to $3,880, and a whole cow $5,470 to $7,460. Deposits are $850, $1,650, and $3,200.
